Another funeral in May..
And this morning I wake up in a world without my oldest sister Marie, who died 4 years ago this week…and now without my father who passed away yesterday morning…and all I can think about is how unfair this is…one family shouldn’t have to lose this much.

Wake up.
I keep going back to that day in late October of last year
where we sat in the little coffee shop
laughing at our horoscopes and talking about rain.

Just a little advice.
All the boys want us to believe they’ve got it figured out,
they know how to slay the dragon and win the girl.
but they haven’t figured out that the girls who are worth anything
are slaying their own dragons,
and are not trophies to be won.

The month I become medically uninsured is the month I develop symptoms of a painful infection…my tonsils are severly swollen, and my lower back, neck, and thighs are in a constant state of dull pain.

thinking about how desperately i want to drop out of school and actually do the things that I enjoy instead of being miserable. it was a terrifying idea last year, and now i have no idea what is stopping me. the bottom line is, i would rather be happy and poor for a few years than waste so much time chasing some degree that means nothing to me at the moment.
